It’s good ol’ Bob Marley’s birthday today. He is undeniably one of the best artists of all time and in honor of him, I present you my favorite mashup of all time. Xaphoon Jones (member of Chiddy Bang) created this masterpiece long before the start up of Filthy Slaps and I like to find any excuse to post a dope throw back track. Bob Marley hasn’t been with us for 31 years now but he lives on through his music to this day. Rest in peace. Download this track in honor of the legend below.
Underground reggae? Unheard of… Unless you are familiar with the lovely Cris Cab. This young artist, inspired by greats such as Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley, is opening up a whole new branch of music. What made him a personal favorite of mine was his cover of Pumped Up Kicks, which is arguably the best Pumped Up Kicks cover out there. Below are my personal 3 favorite songs off of the mixtape.
