Our sincerest apologies to hip-hop listeners out there. We know how much you want the freshest productions and do our best to deliver on cue. Unfortunately we glossed over two mix tapes released back in February and April of this year from California native and NYC artist, Anagram. If you don’t already know, Anagram is a Hip-Hop MC/Producer from the SF bay area with roots in NYC. His style combines west and east coast influences. With a heavy background in film, Anagram chooses to make his own music videos, as well as other collaborating artists. His first mixtape, The Shenron LP, hit the internet in February of 2012. It follows classic sixteen track album format, and features original production on almost every track. Lately he is focusing on balancing out lyricism with quality production. Following Shenron’s success, Anagram stepped up his game and released second mixtape from the lab, Strudel. His style is definitely evolving and only getting tighter from here. Stay tuned for more projects, I personally appreciate his lucid rhymes and easy beat. I hear Immortal Technique and Jedi Mind in this. Enjoy.
