Even though remixing “Lights” is a dead horse that’s gotten thoroughly beaten, CHANGE just dropped a little throwback for us to bask in some nostalgia. It has a Daft Punk type vibe, so I guess you could say that this single could be in honor of Daft Punk’s new album, which I’m sure you’re already sick of (considering Get Lucky is on the radio 24/7). So anyways, enjoy the smooth vibe of this bootleg, and enjoy a throwback just one day shy of #tbt.
I’m not even going to lie right now, this absolutely slaps and I love it. Dillon Francis perfected this Passion Pit remix, doing their song the utmost justice. The intro could not be better and then it dives in to some moombahton madness that will have you shaking your head without a doubt. Though the Carried Away lyrics are hardly audible in this catchy track, I would honestly not have it any other way. Oh and did I mention the incredible drop just past the 3 minute mark? In my books this is a must download without a doubt. Peep it all below.
It’s the freaking weekend and it’s time to act like it. Here is a classic slap by Dyro that should get the party going. The song consists of a slow beginning that grooves into a smooth house build up. Next thing you know you are on the edge of your seat preparing for THE drop of the century. Dyro uses his mixing skills to make this simplistic masterpiece that has me looking forward to blast it over and over. Only issue is that it’s quite short but it serves as a great pick me up for whenever the party goes dry. Though there’s no download available quite yet, you can stream the song endless times below.
After being introduced to Bobby C by a friend the other day, I’ve been fiending for high quality glitch-hop and nu-funk. Bobby brings a completely different meaning to the word “slap” with his original, Jelly Belly, which borrows a few samples from from an unnamed oldies track. This tune starts out deceptively laid back, before dropping into a heavy-hitting glitch-bass-filled eargasm of sound. I’ve also included a link to his free Shamabala ’12 set, which features remixes of Tequila by the Champs, a few Ray Charles glitch re-dubs, and a junk ton of high quality originals. Check it out. Pretty filthy.

A dope, creative set of visuals from one of the youngest, yet most talented electro-house artists out there. The track itself has been floating around for a while, but Madeon juts dropped the video. Vocals from Zak Waters make the chorus pretty cool and unique, and the track is just awesome altogether. Enjoy.
