Ella Eyre – Waiting All Night (Acoustic Version) 0

Anyone who doesn’t think a female vocalist jamming on an electric guitar can’t slap or be extremely filthy is most definitely on the wrong website. Ella Eyre may not be a ghetto banger or a dubstep song with insane drops but her voice alone puts her on a whole new level. Ms. Eyre remixed the original Waiting All Night but in all honesty, this version is all I need. If you are like me then you will have the song on nonstop repeat below.

The Lonely Biscuits – Everybody 0

I would first off like to say that the Filthy Slaps team is sincerely sorry for all of those affected by the hurricane and is praying for you and your families. The Lonely Biscuits have a similar message to share with you through a beautiful track. A basic summary of this groups motives can be found at the start of the video. The song itself is quality music… the Jack Johnson sounding chorus and the melodic rapping over an acoustic beat is so well done. Now is your chance to join these brave men on their effort to help out by downloading their track HERE and choosing to donate if you wish. Much love to these guys!

Cris Cab – Paradise (On Earth) 0

The lovely reggae singer, Cris Cab, is back at it. Even though summer is coming to an end, the summer vibes in his music are still thriving. This new track is catchy and simple with a nice hook that is great for singing along to. The guitar in the background gives the song an exotic aura that gets the paradise idea across quite well. Download this track below and look out for the RISE EP, set to drop on October 9th.

Mac Miller – First Day of My Life (Bright Eyes Acoustic Cover) 0

First off, my sincere apologies for the lull in posting. I am glad to let you know starting today posting will be back in full swing! Onto the post… wow… Mac Miller covering my favorite indie song of all time. This does not happen everyday. Mac has been struggling lately with keeping his fans content but after this free release you won’t be hearing any complaints from me. Maybe the man was truly born to be an indie singer? Cop the song below for free.

WHY? – Sod in the Seed (New Indie/Hip-Hop) 0

WHY? released this track ‘Sod In The Seed’ a month ago. It has a hip-hop vibe to it, but it is laid down over an indie track. This track is very different than their most recent full-length project (Eskimo Snow) in that it is much more percussion heavy and rapid. This indie vibe caught my eye though. Enjoy.
