Brothers From Another – Groov (Feat. Asher Roth) 0

Screen Shot 2013-05-15 at 10.43.50 PM

Asher hopped on this summer time track with the boys over at Brothers From Another. Groov not only embodies the lyrics of this song which flow smoothly out of each MC’s mouth, but it also really captures the vibe and aura of this single. If you aren’t familiar with Brothers From Another, I wasn’t before doing a little research before this post, they are an interracial (in the same way Chiddy Bang was before they broke up, R.I.P.) duo out of Seattle. The basic jist is with a feature like this and having shared the stage with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Wale, they are obviously on the verge of doing it big. Be sure to take advantage of the FREE DOWNLOAD and peep the song below.

Jarren Benton – Cadillacs & Chevys (Prod by Roc N Mayne) 0

This is the first I have heard of Jarren Benton since Skitzo and quite frankly I was tentative when checking out his video. It wasn’t until he went off on the first verse that I remembered what a crazy son of a b*tch he is. I actually really like his flow and his careless mentality. This track is off his upcoming tape, My Grandmas Basement, set to drop June 11th. Come back and look for it here then.

Hendersin – T-I-P (Official Video) 0

The homie Hendersin dropped this banger today and it is some of his smoothest work we have heard in a while. His flow comes off quite well on the beat and has us excited for his upcoming mixtape, Henny In Ya System, due out May 29th. The A$ap sounding chorus and the trippy chopped up visuals are very effective and create a dope vibe. You also gotta love that he’s rocking a Boston fitted or snapback throughout the whole video. Get this one off the tape once it drops and slap the video for now.

Kidd Upstairs and X.O. – Amanda Bynes (Official Music Video) 0

Well here it is. I present to you the song of the week (maybe month?). Kidd Upstairs and X.O. teamed up and created one of the most original, authentic, and provocative slaps I have heard in quite a while. The duo, using the fall out of Amanda Bynes as a premise, each go in on one verse and equally murder the beat. The TMZ footage as well as the seductive lips towards the end of the video perfect the vibe and the interview at the end of the song is the icing on the cake. I am ecstatic to download this song tomorrow when it is “officially” released but until then it will be on nonstop repeat. “MAH B*TCH LOOK LIKE AMANDA BYNES.
