BMBC, otherwise known as Bobby Mac and Baby Child, just dropped their debut mixtape. Two seniors in high school from the bay area Bobby Mac and Baby Child just stepped into the rapping scene. Looking back on some rappers, even some of the best MCs have some pretty amateur quality debut tracks and mixtapes. This first drop from BMBC proves the norm otherwise – it’s solid recording, rhymes, and has lyrics that everyone can relate to. The production/remixing and the rapping impressed me. was gonna ask how you could possibly find this decent, then saw you said “even some of the best MC like him” in reference to mac miller… and quality music and lyrics everyone can relate to? if you mean generic youtube beats and the same shitty rhymes about their high school prom or pep rally or some shit that no one in the real world could ever give a fuck about… this is a joke and embarrassment to the culture and art of hip-hop. these dudes either need to spend some time studying real hip-hop and figure out what the art is really all about or just give up and go play lacross or water polo or something
